Tom Ryder Weddings

Hertfordshire

Wedding singer in Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire is the next county over from me, so it is a short drive and no overnight stay.

I play Hertfordshire constantly. It is close enough that I can get to your venue for a look round beforehand if it would help, and close enough that the travel is barely worth mentioning at 50p a mile.

A lot of Hertfordshire weddings move between rooms and gardens more than once. That suits me: I can be packed down and set up again somewhere else inside twenty minutes, which is usually faster than getting your guests to move.

Venues

Hertfordshire venues I've played

Only the ones I have actually played. If your venue is not on this list it does not matter in the slightest, it just means I will ring them rather than assume.

I also play regularly around Hertford, St Albans, Bishop's Stortford, Ware and Welwyn.

Included wherever I play: a professional pa, sized for your room, indoors or outdoors, full setup and soundcheck before your guests arrive, backup equipment for everything, and public liability insurance with the certificate sent to your venue on request.

Ceremony

Music for a Hertfordshire ceremony

Hertfordshire ceremonies tend to happen in houses and gardens rather than barns: a panelled room with hard floors, or a lawn with a bit of a breeze. Both are kind to one guitar and one voice, and both need the register signing planned properly, because the paperwork always runs longer than the couple expects.

I time the aisle walk to you rather than the other way round, so a hold-up at the door simply means the music carries on until you are ready.

Changeable weather meant moving around a bit but he accommodated us perfectly and sang brilliantly. All of our guests commented on how great Tom was. Tom couldn't have been more helpful, approachable, and answered all of our questions before the wedding speedily and efficiently. We felt we were in good hands before our big day and were assured of it on the day itself.

Even now, two weeks on from our wedding day our guests are still mentioning the performance of Tom. He executed the song of our choice better than we could have ever wished for, as my wife walked down the aisle. His energy caused an eruption of unprecedented scenes as guests got up to dance before the speeches had even begun!
