Festivals and outdoor events
A singer and acoustic guitarist who fits anywhere on the site
Most of what I do is weddings, and I have played more than a hundred of them. The same setup works for a festival, a fete, a beer garden stage or an outdoor event that needs live music without a stage build: one person, a battery PA, and a set pitched at whoever is actually standing there.
What booking one acoustic act actually gets you
One person, no get-in
A guitar, a vocal mic, a compact PA and a loop pedal. It fits in a car, sets up in about twenty minutes and needs no crew, no risers and no line check with a stage manager.
No plug socket needed
The PA runs on battery, so a field, a paddock, an orchard or the far end of a site is the same job as an indoor stage. Tell me early if there is no power, because it changes what I bring.
I can move as the day moves
Acoustic sets can follow the crowd: a quiet opening somewhere shaded, something louder later, and a different corner of the site in between. Small enough to do that twice in an afternoon.
Pop, rock, folk, and requests
The repertoire is built on more than 150 artists, and most of it started as somebody asking for a song I did not yet play.
Where I have played
I have worked at venues all over the UK, including Parklands Quendon Hall in Essex, Down Hall in Hertfordshire, Milsoms Kesgrave Hall in Suffolk, Preston Court in Kent, Swynford Manor in Cambridgeshire, Greenwich Yacht Club in London, Cley Windmill in Norfolk and Trevenna in Cornwall. I have also played abroad, at Lake Como, Lake Garda, in Tuscany and in Dubrovnik.
Wherever you are in the UK, I can get to you. Travel is 50p a mile from Stansted, Essex, and I tell you the figure before you book.

What it costs
The published price list covers wedding days, part by part, and starts at £300. Festivals and events vary too much in length and travel to put a single number on, so tell me the date, the site and how long you want, and I will send you a price rather than a "from".
