Tom Ryder Weddings

London

Wedding singer in London

London is an easy run in from Essex, and I plan the load-in around your venue rather than around the traffic.

London weddings have their own set of problems and none of them are musical. Access, lifts, curfews, sound limiters, and a load-in window that somebody else has already booked. I have done enough of them to ask your venue the right questions early.

One guitar and one voice is also a practical answer to a small London room. I take up very little floor space, I can play at a genuinely quiet volume when I need to, and I can work with a limiter without the set falling apart.

Venues

London venues I've played

Only the ones I have actually played. If your venue is not on this list it does not matter in the slightest, it just means I will ring them rather than assume.

I also play regularly around Greenwich, Hackney, Islington, Shoreditch and Richmond.

Included wherever I play: a professional pa, sized for your room, indoors or outdoors, full setup and soundcheck before your guests arrive, backup equipment for everything, and public liability insurance with the certificate sent to your venue on request.

Ceremony

Music for a London ceremony

In London the ceremony music is rarely the difficult part. The sound limiter, the lift and the load-in window are. I can play at a genuinely low volume, take up almost no floor space, and work inside a limiter without the set falling apart, which matters in a small room with thirty guests in it.

I will ask your venue about access, power and curfews early, so nothing about the ceremony is being worked out on the morning.

Even now, two weeks on from our wedding day our guests are still mentioning the performance of Tom. He executed the song of our choice better than we could have ever wished for, as my wife walked down the aisle. His energy caused an eruption of unprecedented scenes as guests got up to dance before the speeches had even begun!

Kyle & Kelly Goodman

Tom played at our wedding at Apton Hall a couple of weeks ago. He played during our reception drinks and canapés and it worked perfectly. He is an amazing singer and guitarist and it was the perfect accompaniment to our celebrations on our day. So many of our guests commented on how great he was. Tom took requests and played songs he hasn't even played before!
