Terms and conditions

Tom Ryder, trading as Tom Ryder Weddings, is an acoustic guitarist and singer specialising in weddings and other private events. For weddings I provide live music for ceremonies, drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts, first dances and before a DJ, as well as at other parts of the day where requested.

Prices and what you are booking

Prices are tailored to each individual client, and depend on location, duration and service requirements. Packages are not restricted to those listed on this website, and all combinations are possible and negotiable. Every price I do publish is on the prices page.

Performing extra songs over and above what has been agreed, such as an encore, remains at my discretion.

Securing the date

Early booking is advised. I only take one wedding per day.

A 50% deposit secures your date. The balance is due one month before the wedding. Deposits are paid by bank transfer, and I will ask you for a clear online banking reference when you make it. Invoices and receipts are available on request, if required.

If I am unwell or unable to perform

In the event that Tom is unwell or unable to perform, a full refund – including deposit – will be provided to the client. A suitable replacement performer will also be sought by Tom, wherever possible.

How we agree things

Email conversations between Tom and the client serve as written agreements. I am happy to respond by call, text or on social media, but email is by far the preferred medium through which to finalise arrangements.
