Terms & Conditions

Tom Ryder, trading as Tom Ryder Weddings, is an acoustic guitarist and singer specialising in weddings and other private events.

For weddings, he provides live music for ceremonies, drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts, first dances and/or before a DJ, as well as at other parts of the day where requested.

Prices are tailored to each individual client, and depend on location, duration and service requirements. Packages are not restricted to those listed on this website, and all combinations are possible and negotiable. Performing extra songs over and above what has been agreed (such as an encore) remains at Tom’s discretion.

Early booking is advised.

Bookings are secured via a 50% non-refundable deposit, paid via bank transfer. Please provide a clear online banking reference when making the transfer. The remaining balance is payable one month prior to the event, unless other terms are agreed in writing.

In the event that Tom is unwell or unable to perform, a full refund – including deposit – will be provided to the client. A suitable replacement performer will also be sought by Tom, wherever possible.

Invoices and receipts are available on request, if required. Email conversations between Tom and the client serve as written agreements. Tom is happy to respond via call, text or on social media, but email is by far the preferred medium through which to finalise arrangements.

Has your wedding been affected by Coronavirus?

If your event has been postponed or cancelled due to Coronavirus, Tom will endeavour to perform at your rearranged date if possible, and there is no additional charge to move the date. If this is not possible and you have already paid in full, half of your balance will be refunded.

If Tom is unable to make your new date, the 50% initial deposit remains non-refundable, as under regular circumstances, Tom would have been able to honour the booking, and this payment was to secure the original date only. For those to whom this unfortunate circumstance applies, compensation should be sought via your wedding insurance provider.
